When it comes to the first look, so much attention is placed on that moment the groom sees his bride for the first time as she walks toward him down the aisle.  Another common example of the first look is the staged first lookor first encounter between the bride and groom prior to their actual ceremony.

The photograph below  was a moment captured during the wedding ceremony of Zoe and Cameron.  I can’t help but smile every time I look at this photograph, which is why I choose to share it.

It was taken at the Briars Resort and Spa in Jackson Point, Ontario.  The ceremony took place on the yard behind the Inn and Manor House that summer afternoon.

While my second shooter was focused on capturing the expression on Cameron’s face (when he saw Zoe for the first time), I awaited the moment Zoe turned down the aisle to see Cameron anxiously waiting for her.

The result was exactly what I had hoped for. The expression on her face is priceless.
